• $42 per hour (local)

• Paid every Friday

Shift:

• 6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am

Term: Long-Term Placement

Orientation: Twice a month

Job Description: Provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients. May supervise the work of others, and act as Charge Nurse/Shift Supervisor when needed. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent nursing judgment. Performs nursing duties within the assigned areas and assigned shift. Performs basic and complex nursing tasks to fulfill the health needs of the individuals, including the collection of lab work and other health screenings. Keeps informed of and follows all agency, facility and unit policies and procedures.

Facility Description: Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) is a psychiatric hospital that serves 18 counties in Middle Tennessee. MTMHI offers 4 sub-acute units, 3 acute units, and a Forensic Services Program for a total of 207 psychiatric beds.

Job Requirements:

• Must pass Drug Screen and Fingerprint Background

• Will accept new grads

Credential Requirements:

• Active Nursing License

• Current American Heart Association BLS
